About team

SM Racing offers the opportunity for anyone interested to try sports karting and later compete professionally in high-level competitions. The team provides technical support and coaching services for both beginners and professional athletes.
 
SM Racing was established in 2019 when seven-time Latvian and two-time Baltic karting champion, Mārtiņš Steinerts, turned to working with athletes, passing on the knowledge and experience gained during his motorsport career to new drivers.
 
The team completed its first season in 2019, bringing together several new drivers who took their first steps in karting. Over the years, SM Racing has grown into one of the largest karting teams in the Baltic states. Its drivers have won several Latvian and Nordic championship titles, as well as numerous podium finishes in various competitions in the Baltics and Europe.
